On one of my first CQ's I made an easy QSO with ON4ANT with 55 SSB signals. It looked prommising but then nothing. I suddenly heard LA1V in QSO and started calling in his direction but no luck. I turned the ant to north and worked SM3JGG on aurora, and things looked brighter again. No more aurora signals werw heard so the rest of the contest was not exiting until the last 20 minutes. At that time I started to hear fragments of G-, GM- and PA- callsigns. For the rest of the contest I tried to work this stations with no success. What was wrong? After the contest I still herd the stations calling on my QRG and finaly half an hour after the competition I realised that they were working OZ1IEP and it sounded like they had a girl behind the mic.:-) 73 and have a nice summer.
