SK0UX:
will be qrv in the NAC1296 on Tuesday.
We will be using the normal setup, 100w and 2m dish.
Today we mounted the 23cm feed (circular/VE4MA) in our 6m dish
If the weather permits, we will mount a 100w pa and 0.4db nf preamp
in this antenna during Tuesdays contest. We hope it will help us to get
on or two extra long distance qso:s. Best take-off for tropo with this antenna
is 180-270degs so that's where it will be pointing most of the time, we will
listen and call for a while in the directions where we know there are some active
SP, OZ, SM7 and SM6 stations.
Still armstrong-rotator on it, but we have managed to get a good idea
about the direction by listening to some beacons and working a couple of stations
today.
For skeds during the contest, sms or phone +46 708 540452 or +46 707 886518.
Cu on Tuesday!
