This was not the case. I lost the power to the pre-amp, so I had to run without. I do hear good without too, but it does help with the weakest ones. Pretty good aurora the first hour. Could have worked much more, but I wasn't quite as eager as I should have been. RX1AS (KO59) was heard on aurora, but no luck. Also LA2CFA (JO48) was heard, but he didn't copy me. OZ1BMA (JO64) faded out before complete qso. DL0PR and OZ4UHF was heard most of the test. Hopefully everything will be ok for next test. I took a few pictures from the set-up. Will post these on my homepage in a few days. I was not at the top. I was a bit further down, but take-off still good in the main directions. -- Best regards, Andreas mailto:la8aja@c2i.net
