Fuses blew, caused by a bad junction in a 220V connector. This again caused the high voltage supply to go bananas and caused a spark in the supply. Repaired and back on the air about 30 minutes later, still motivated! It held for about 15 minutes then the high voltage supply went dead again. Motivation drops.. Another 30 minutes off air, repaired and 10 minutes on again - BANG!!! This time it seemed permanent....We managed however to do a field repair by bypassing the HV input filter. The last 30 minutes of the contest was with full power. Last 10 minutes of the contest, when we finally noticed the aurora, was really good! Despite the problems, the conditions was quite good towards the south/southeast/southwest. Our feeling is that we should have reached >100k pts this evening!!!
